The Wedding Band

When you think of matrimony, you must be thinking of entertainment.

And when you think of entertainment, you must be thinking of The Wedding Band.

Composed of five veteran musicians from the Saskatchewan scene, The Wedding Band brings a unique energy to their performances, covering musical ground from the sixties through to the present day. While some cover groups stick true to the source material, The Wedding Band manages to avoid the pitfalls of predictability and corporatized cover band territory by bringing their collective decades of prowess to the songs, injecting them with a rowdy, party-time attitude and a willingness to go big, or go home.

Formed in 2023, initially to perform a halloween set covering The Cars, The Wedding Band has since honed their skillset performing weddings, festivals (including Bengough’s Gateway Festival and Regina’s Frost Fest), and any other type of good-time you can think of that needs a high energy rock’n’roll band. Members Jon Wolfond, Gage McGuire, Geordie Broadfoot, Landon Leibel and Ethan Bender are able to accommodate any situation.
